How to Work When You Just Don’t Want To
I have long believed that most of us spend part of our work doing what we have to do so that we can spend the other part of our work doing what we want to do. If that is true, sometimes our work is easy because it flows naturally from who we are while at other times we must work past our emotional hurdles to accomplish work that we really don’t want to do.
The Harvard Business Review recently posted an interesting article on procrastination. This short article addresses three reasons we struggle to do work that we don’t want to do:
